Why a private excursion makes all the difference for families
On a coach, children have to put up with fixed timetables, stops at other hotels and visits at the group's pace. In a private vehicle, you leave when the children are ready, stop when you need to, and cut the visit short if they get tired.
The price is per vehicle: for a family of four or five, the outing often works out cheaper than a group tour. Let us know the children's ages in your request so we can take them into account.
Friguia Park, children's favourite outing
Half an hour from Hammamet, Friguia Park is home to lions, giraffes, elephants and many other animals, with shows throughout the day. You explore on foot, at a gentle pace.
Half a day is enough: leave in the morning, back in time for lunch and a nap. This is our Line 7.
Child-friendly culture days
Some ancient sites captivate children. At El Jem, they can go down into the underground passages where wild animals and gladiators once waited, then run around the tiers. The ramparts and watchtowers of the ribats in Sousse and Monastir also have a real castle feel.
Line 5 (Sousse, Monastir and Port El Kantaoui) is ideal with young children: little driving, short visits, and the marina to finish with an ice cream.
Sea and nature
The Cap Bon tour alternates short visits with scenery: the Punic bathtubs of Kerkouane, Kelibia fort, the El Haouaria caves. Pack your swimsuits: Kelibia's beaches are among the most beautiful in the country.
Our planning tips
Pacing is key: one excursion every two or three days, alternating with the pool and the beach. With toddlers, avoid days involving more than three hours' driving there and back.
- Set off early in summer and return before the hottest hours
- Hats, sunscreen and plenty of water
- A small snack for the journey
- Closed shoes for archaeological sites
- A change of clothes if a swim is planned
